About picture

It is basically frame of a forest taken from a photograph. Generally paradise birds are most beautiful bird known in the world so I drew it with oil colour. Choosing oil colour is because the beauty of the painting will open mostly with oil colour. It is again a nature painting and I suggest drawing it with heart not only just brush and colours then you will able to enter in the painting. Yet i tried to draw this for beginners. Here are some tips how you can draw.

TOOLS:

DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRUSH: NO. 0 ROUND BRUSH, 2,8,12 FLAT BRUSHES, 2INCH FLAT BRUSH.

COLORS: CHROME YELLOW, LEMMON YELLOW, FLAKE WHITE, PRUSSIAN BLUE, TARQUISE BLUE BURNT SIENNA AND OLIVE GREEN.

CANVAS: ‘24’ x ‘18’.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP FOR BEGINNERS

STEP 1: As the background I used variety of colour in the page as the first step. To show the far area which is basically forest because this types of birds are found in this kind of Forest i used the colours such as light yellow, burnt sienna, green and chrome yellow. (In this painting I did not use any kind of oil)

STEP 2: Then carefully blur all the colours as needed with 2 inch flat soft brush.

STEP 3: Now it comes the drawing part. Then I drew the head of the bird with Prussian blue. And for the body part I used light blue mixing blue and white for the feather and very carefully draw this in the way it looks the feathers are covering the body.

STEP 4: Now comes the tail part which is the beauty of a bird. This kind of bird has a type of beautiful reddish golden tail. For the tail i used chrome yellow, burnt sienna and white. Burnt sienna is for the area attached to the bird and the colour will be lighter till the end of the tail with yellow and white.

STEP 5: This step is basically detailing part. I detailed the feather with white and little blue but with very care as the way it shows two parts of the feather are there. And the other parts like eyes, throat, tail and a finger by which the bird griped the stem of the tree.

STEP 6: In this part I drew more stems and flowers to show a part of the forest. And i made some fruits also which attracts these birds. I drew the stems with burnt sienna and after that for the light effect I put yellow in the needed areas which shows light fallen. And for the flowers and fruit I used chrome yellow.

STEP 7: Now you will have a very beautiful drawing. To develop its beauty I included more detail in it and left it for drying. After drying it looks more realistic. So carefully keep the drawing in a dry place and try not to touch the drawing after it is done for one or two days because if it would not be dried so your touch or any kind of other problem with the canvas will ruin your drawing.

THANKS FOR VISITING.
