How to Paint Water | An Iceberg | Paint With Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, here I am with a new video of floating iceberg on the ocean. This painting is a massage to people that now days ice are melting very fast and ices are decreasing in amount for that. So purposing this I have made this article. I have given some simple steps here and I hope you all love this and enjoy.

COLORS: BLUE, WHITE and TURQUOISE BLUE

CANVAS: ‘18x24’

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (OIL AND ACRYLIC PAINTING)

STEP 1: First I want to tell you that I have colored the canvas with blue and white acrylic color mixing because this painting, in its background and the four back ground, has the same color base which is light blue for the sky base and the ocean base.

STEP 2: In step 2 I have selected the light coming from the right side and shadow part in the left side. So to make the darker color in the left side I have used Prussian blue and for the right side I have mixed more white along with very little blue with that for light.

STEP 3: Now I have drawn a sketch of ice berg with white. You can see in the picture for the better shape. If you are advance then you can draw other shape.

STEP 4: we can see light falling in the ice berg makes a very beautiful effect itself and it takes lots of color combination in it. In the top we can see lighter next to that blue as shadow then again white for light. So for that I have put white-blue mix-up in the top and blurred the lower part with blue. Here the shading is very important and especially the technique of using brush should be taken care off. And in the left side which is the opposite side of light basically I have made shadow with Prussian blue. (See video for better knowing of the technique)

STEP 5: Then for the front iceberg I have used acrylic turquoise blue color. I have used this color as base of the berg so that I can use blue and white color later for the light and shadow effect.

STEP 6: Then after 15-20 min when the acrylic color of the front berg has dried I have then added blue in some places as shadow and then added white blue mix-up(less blue) in the top as light. Here blurring is very important. Blurring should be soft, not too much that the color goes away or not too light that nothing has blurred, It should be medium having a soft effect in it.

STEP 7: Then I added Prussian blue in the ocean part and blurred it. Then added little more Prussian blue in different places and then made floating ice with white. So basically the Prussian blue is indicating the shadow here because ice when floating has a shadow on water for the falling light.

STEP 8: Now as we know floating ice has a reflection on water. So for making it realistic when I have drawn the ices with white I have attached white and blue just below the ices dragging the brush vertically from the ices.

how to draw oil painting, realistic clouds step by step - With Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi I am Dilip Sarkar, today I am here with an interesting painting. Sometimes when we see a sunny day gets darker gradually because of the heavy clouds covering the sun but because the sun is so bright and it is being shown little bit so it gives a very beautiful light effect on the cloud. So I have made that painting and showed you in some simple steps below. I hope you all love this.

HOW TO DRAW STEP B Y STEP (OIL PAINTING)

TEP 1: First I have drawn the sketch of some expanding clouds here. I have made the canvas darker with burnt sienna and blue because light opens up in the dark base as I said in my other videos.

Now I have put color in the sky area outside the clouds with blue and white. Here you have to understand that the sky this is the time when some cloud covers the sun almost, so outside the clouds it looks darker than the usual time. In painting i have kept that part little because the light opens up more but not dark as night. I have used white as well according to the painting’s demand. First I used low white so that I can out more as needed.

STEP 2: Then I have given white on the clouds mixing with very little blue. But here you have to use the brush in a kind of blur way. Don’t go too deep here because you have to add more white for light and detailing.

STEP 3: Now I have added white at the sides of the clouds as we see this kinds of effect when clouds covers the sun but sun is so bright and the light is shown in the sides and also little bit inside the clouds as needed (see picture) and here you can see in the picture. That there I have made sun which is being shown a little bit from the back of the clouds. For the bright sun I have dragged the color there like drawing a star and it shows the brightness of the sun.

STEP 4: Then I have blurred the inside of the clouds then added more detailed light with a thin brush. Then I have added more light in the sides of the cloud with white.

STEP 5: Now I have added little darkness with blue with mixing with very little white inside the clouds. (See picture)

STEP 6: And at last in the lower part of the drawing I have made some more little clouds with white and blue (use less blue). Then I have drawn some banana tree with little blue, green, green in the top as it is the lighted part of the leaf and blue in the lower part of the trees because of the shadow part. And then added some lights with white in the leaves of the tree and added more detail like adding white in the sky, adding lights to clouds etc.

How to draw | scenery of spring season with soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

HI, I am Dilip Sarkar , today I am with an another drawing of a spring season. As probably most of us love the spring season because of its pleasant nature. And also in this season we can see some amazing nature frame. So I have today drawn a painting of spring season of a mountain area. I have given some simple step of this I hope you all love this and enjoy.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP-SOFT PASTEL

STEP

1: First I have drawn the sketch of the drawing as I showed in the picture. You can use pencil for this or a soft pastel pencil. Soft pastel pencil would be better for this. And I will suggest using a good paper which will be suitable for soft pastel drawing for the lasting of the painting.

STEP 2: Then for the sky color I have used blue, turquoise blue and pink and blurred it. You can use a napkin to remove dust made by using the chalks.

STEP 3: In this step I have colored the mountain and the hills. For the middle mountain I have used blue in the left side and in the right side I have put little less blue color than the right side because of the light coming in the right side. I will suggest making some variation of white and blue to make more ups and downs of the mountain and for also the light –shadow effect. In below of this mountain I have used white and blurred it mixing the bottom of the mountain a little bit to make the distance from the front.

Then I have colored the front hills. For the left hills I have used orange and little red in the top of the hill to make light variation then burnt sienna and blue. And in the right side I have given blue, little green and burnt sienna. As I have selected the right side as the light source so I have put a kind of dark colors in the right side where the left is lighter than the right for the coming light. That’s why I have used orange in left hill. You can add yellow ochre for some light here. At last you I have given some white in below of the hills and blurred it to have the distance from the closer part of the drawing.

STEP 4: Then just below the hills you can se I have made a land which basically shows that there are many things in between the hills and the front. So in just below the hills I have uses yellow and burnt sienna and in the place where it turns to right in the drawing I put blue and then burnt sienna. Then in the side ground where I wanted to show there is many grasses grown, I have used green, orange and a little bit yellow ochre if needed.

STEP 5: Now it is very interesting part. Here I have added light to the middle mountain giving strokes white which shows the other sharp parts of the mountain as we know there is main peak of a mountain with some other sharp long parts of the mountain.

STEP 6: Then I have added some Christmas trees in the right with blue and brown using pastel pencils and a leafless tree in the left. For the left tree I kept the right side of the tree little darker using brown and blue because of the shadow made by the coming lights.

STEP 7: Now it is basically the detailing part. Here I have added some lights in the hills, top of the right hills and also in the right side of the left leafless tree with light yellow (lemon) and white. And also added dome flowers in the ground and the in that turning in the right side with light yellow.

Add more details if needed.

THANKS FOR VISITING.

How to oil painting tutorial | foggy Christmas trees | Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar today I have given a prospectus to draw a foggy Christmas trees of dawn. I am always a nature lover and especially I love the changing of nature and its beauty. I love the beauty what of changing nature in different times of the day. So today I have given you some oil paintings tips to draw Christmas trees in very foggy area. I hope you will love and enjoy

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (OIL PAINTING)

STEP 1: A I am drawing a frame of fogy Christmas trees in the dawn time. I will show you how you can do that in some very easy steps. At first I have put blue in the upper portion of the canvas very little bit then in all the canvas I have put blue mixing with white and little violet making it light color. Then In almost middle of the canvas I have put white and yellow ocher mix-up and little bit of that in the lower part also to have our base. Then I blurred it with soft fresh brush.

STEP 2: Then from the top of the canvas I have used blue color mixing with white making basic shapes of tree which will look like hills but actually it’s not. It will show the effect of many trees there. In the top I used the color very light mixing with white giving small strokes making small shapes for showing its far distance and the lower we go darker the color is. And the shapes of that base should be small then medium then bigger as it goes top to bottom of the paper.

STEP 3: I have drawn some more basic tree shapes in bottom but this time it’s I have used bigger stroke of the brush as I said in my previous step that small to median then bigger as top to bottom..

STEP 4: Then below of the every shape I have blurred with white to have separation and the distances from one tree layer to another.

STEP 5: I Then I have made the peaks of the trees. So basically you have to show that some peaks are being shown and other is that previous base which show dense bunch of trees. And Make big peaks of the right and make it smaller as it goes to left.

STEP 6: Then I have drawn some more big Christmas trees with deep blue mixing with little burnt sienna mostly in the right side. I have made this right and left factor to open the beauty of the painting because this kind of row of trees we can see in these kinds of forest.

STEP 7: And in the last step I have used white in some places to have the lights and in the upper left side have used white to make more foggy light.

How to draw 3D wall art | Amazing spider - man Hanging the window | 3D ...

About Picture

Hi, I am Dilip Sarker, today I am here with an interesting subject which is 3D wall painting. Now-a-days it became vary fascinating to decorate our houses even our walls. People are using verity types of painting to decorate their walls, 3d art is one of them. Children love this kind of things especially when it is their favourite cartoon characters. Almost every child love spider-man. So today I have shown you how to draw a 3D spider man on your own wall.

COLOR: Acrylic- Deep Blue, Red, Chrome yellow and White.

HOW TO DRAW 3D WALL PAINTING TECHNIQUES-ACRYLIC COLOR

STEP 1: As the first step it is not so easy like my other paintings because you have to be always careful as you are doing this on your own finish wall, obviously you will not want your wall to look messy with color. Here we will start from drawing a figure of hanging Spider man. You have to draw the figure very perfectly that there should not be any mistake like big hand and small leg or something like that. Obviously you have to remember that there will be only one chance if you do mistakes then you have to face many problems of making it right again.

STEP 2: Then I filled red portion of my spider man, from the head to belly, some of hands and legs. Now here you have to know a fact that from where you want light come from. Here I have chosen the light come from the front so as spider man have a kind of fine cutting of his physique so when he hang in this posture his chest is up automatically and the chest portion is lighted where the belly portion has shadow effect. You have to care about the light and shadow for getting that 3d effect that’s why I have described this in detail. So for light red in the chest for the lighted part I have used red and chrome yellow and for the deep red in the belly I used Prussian blue and red for shadow. And on some places of hand ,legs and also in head you have to use light and shadow effect as your light directions and also in the neck below the face and in the shoulder groove it is little dark for shadow. (See picture of proper color placement)

STEP 3: Now the rest part of our spider man is blue part. Here I have used Prussian blue. But in lighted part understanding the fact where you want to show lighted I have mixed the blue up with white for that and for darker shades in the grooves and in some areas of legs and hands. I have used red and blue (more blue and less red). And then for the stripes of the spider's costume I have used blue and red. Draw the stripes in the kind it looks like spider net. But don’t use the color deeply here and also doesn’t use brush too straight, use it in the way it takes an effect like some stripes are obvious and some are not.

STEP 4: Then I have drawn the face stripes and the eyes. The stripes of face is simple, it starts from a point in the center spreads all over the face like a proper woven spider net. And in the eyes i have used white and blue mix-up and again in the middle I used more white. That mix-up is for some variation of the glasses of his eye.

STEP 5: In the last step I have drawn the shadow of the whole figure which is very essential for making any 3D art. You have to draw the shadow of the same shape and the same size just in a little side of the spider man which will show that the shadow is in the back of the spider man. And in the chest i have drawn that spider of spider man with blue and red.

how to make 3d wall painting | A snake is coming out of the hole wall | ...

ABOUT PAINTING

Hi, I am DIlip Sarkar, here I am with another 3D wall painting which is a 3D snake is coming out of a damaged wall. I will not say it’s easy because you don’t have chance to do mistakes so you have to be very careful when drawing. But I still tried to make it simple. Use these techniques to draw these. You can use this interior decoration in your house walls.

COLORS: Red, Blue, Yellow, White and Orange.

HOW TO STEP 3D SNAKES WALL IN HOUSE –ACRYLIC PAINTING

STEP 1: In the first step I have drawn a curved indirect shape which will describe a damaged wall where cement has fall off.

STEP 2: Now inside that shape fill it with red and chrome yellow.

Here I was telling my student what is 3D art and the techniques how I will draw this. I was telling him that here I will now going to draw whole from where a snake is coming out.

STEP 3: In the step 3 I have completed the drawing of brick’s shape with blue and burnt sienna. And in every individual brick I have added some yellow and red mix-up to show some light.

STEP 4: Here I have first drawn a whole with blue and burnt sienna. Now I have drawn a snake which has two parts. In the upper part of the snake I have given red and in the lower part of the snake I have given blue and white mix-up. And in the upper I have added a very thin shade which is basically a deep part of the snake. For that I have used blue, burnt sienna and red.

STEP 5: This is the part where completed the detailing of snake. Here I have used yellow, red, white, and orange for the scale of the snake and for the stripes of the snake I have added white. But as i have divided in into two parts I have used this beautiful color combination in the upper part and in the lower part I have used white for ass scales. Blue was already given so when put white further it has turned into ass. I have made our snake colorful because I have made it in room so there will be light all the time. So it will open the beauty of the snake.

STEP 6: Now I have drawn an eye and then drew the tongue of the snake with red and the deep areas with blue. Then i have drawn the shadow of the snake with burnt sienna and blue (more burnt sienna). And also I have added the cracks of the wall with burnt sienna and blue mix-up. And in the exact sides of our broken wall I have added a detail with burnt sienna, blue and then white which will show light there because when there is crack making a groove there so when the light falls on that it will hold these colours. So I have added this to make them real.

Thanks for watching .

How to draw scenery of spring season step by step with soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi I am Dilip Sarkar, again I am here with a soft pastel video of nature. I have drawn a nature painting of spring. I have given all the information which can let you know how to draw this painting. As you all know I love nature painting. So this is another one. I got this view when travelling abd I have put into paper. I hope you all will love this enjoy.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: In the first step I have made the sky area. It is very easy step if you go right way. So Fist I have put blue, pink and white in the sky making a kind of inverse triangle shape because I will put some other variation of the sky later. Then i blurred it softly. (Follow the picture for more)

STEP 2: Now in the middle of the sky I have put some white then yellow then mixing it giving white again. So it gives really an effect of very light shining of the rising sun in the morning when there is fog above the mountains.

STEP 3: Then I have put blue and white in the sides of that triangle shape to fulfill our sky and mixed it I mean blurred it remembering that the color does not go in to that shining part.

STEP 4: Now the mountain part. It’s also easy but it’s the part to take care. Here I have drawn the border of the mountain with blue and filled it with blue and brown but I blurred very gently and softly in the way that the does not turn into black. Some part may take the dark effect like black so that’s OK. If it’s the shadow part of the mountain then there is no problem like I have made the left part of the mountain little darker because that’s the shadow part of the mountain here. And below the mountain I have used blue and white (mostly white) and mixed it little bit like it seem to have fog there and fairness.

STEP 5: Now I have lighted the mountain. There was already brown color so we have to give light color in one side and other will be shadow part and it itself will show the ups and downs of the mountain. So I have lighted with yellow ochre first then I have used white to get lights and the yellow ochre will show the inner shadows of the part where light has fallen. Check out the video as to see how I did that. And lastly give little more white in the lower part of the mountain to have some more fog. I have not given white so much in the first time when I put white on the below of the mountain because if the painting demands some more fog there for its beauty I can add some as I did but if it does not, then it would be waste and it could minimize the beauty of the paintings.

STEP 6: then I have drawn the ground with brown and used blue in some part as shadows and edge where made the trees to have some bushes. Basically it will be the shadows of the trees and the bushes when I will put green on that as leaves. And I have drawn some big trees along with some small trees.

STEP 7: Now in the right side I have drawn another hill with blue color. Because, this kind of scenery we see many variation as mountain color. And then I have also drawn the ground of the right side with the same color combination as I did in the left side.

STEP 8: Then I have detailed the left hill with deep blue in some places as the shadow. (See picture for better placement). And i have also drawn some trees in the right side. Use the same method for shadows like using blue in some places in the ground as I did in the left side. Here I have also done the road with brown and light blue and some white and blurred it gently. Check out the video for better understanding how I blurred.

Step 9: Now this is very interesting part. It is basically the detailing part. Here I have put some orange as the in the shadows of the mountain in the far. And then also i added some more light in the lighted parts. And you can use white in some shadow part also but in some places and also in a very blurred way just to get the effect of some light which have fallen very little. But you are a very beginner the there is no need to do it. And I also added some green in the trees to get the lighted leaves and also in the ground to have the bushes and also added some detail with yellow for flowers and white for some very lighted part of the bushes. But use the soft pastel it like giving some dots for the flowers. (see picture or video to know how it exactly did that).

The leave less tree in the above shot is optional if you like you can give if you don’t then there is no need. Because I have taken this short twice once adding this and not adding to show that this picture can look so beautiful in both the pictures.
