Drawing Beautiful sun ray - soft pastel tutorial | Dilip Realistic Sketc...

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi I am Dilip Sarkar, today I have made a drawing of beautiful sun ray falling on the beautiful trees. But I have made the video keeping the camera upside down to make you curious that what I am drawing. But it was just a fun because sometimes you love to see something funny and it makes a good bonding with me you. So but you will draw it up righted. And I have given all the information how to draw yet it is very easy painting you can see the video and can know everything easily but yet the article will help you to have better idea of the drawing. So friends have fun and enjoy.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: At first I want to tell you that I have used a black paper because it is the painting of sun ray so this painting consist many lights so as I always told that lights opens up on a dark base. So I have put blue and red on the top of the page as the variation of the color of the sky the blurring it I again put some violet and pink then again blurred it. See video for more.

STEP 2: After the first cote has done now the time is for getting the coming sun ray. For that I have dragged the white soft pastel diagonally from top to almost middle or as you want the coming sun ray to be shown. Then I have blurred them but not too much that nothing can be seen but in a way that a base is ready of sun ray. Also use the finger diagonally.

STEP 3: Then in the middle of the page I have used red, orange, and yellow for a basic color of the trees drawing some shape of the tree where i will highlighted the leaves and make the trees prominent. You check the video for better placement of the color.

STEP 4: then in the upper sky I have used some more violate and little white and blurred it for effect of lightness. Now this is the very interesting part where our drawing will be almost completed. Here I have detailed the trees with a yellow soft pastel pencil. Basically I have highlighted the tree leaves.

STEP 5: Now I have dragged the bottom of some tree diagonally in very soft way with my finger. Because when the light fall on these trees sometime we can see the light to have a color of the nature which is basically nothing but the light fallen of the gathered trees. And also by this technique you can show that there is many more where the light has fallen and only the top of the tree is being shown.
Now you have a fine painting of beautiful sun ray falling on beautiful trees.

Christmas tree acrylic paintings for beginners

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, for all my viewers in this season of Christmas and New Year I am wishing all my viewers a very happy x-mass and a very happy new year 20018 in advance. So this picture is of a hill area covered with snow with a little cottage. Especially this picture is dedicated to this season. I have made it with very simple steps I hope you all love this and enjoy.

COLORS: Prussian blue, Burnt sienna, White, Yellow ochre, Lemon yellow, and Orange,

CANVAS: ‘24’x’18; BLACK CANVAS (use black acrylic to color the canvas black)

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (ACRYLIC COLOR)

STEP 1: This step is easy and interesting step as first step. First of all I want to tell you that this drawing is of night and this drawing has many lights so that I have used a black canvas. Because lights opens up more brightly in the dark bases and it will be easier to draw in the black canvas. I have chosen acrylic color because it gets dry easier and you can play light color on the deep color and also drawing gets brighter with this color.

So at first I have drawn a basic sketch of cottage with the brush taking blue and I have placed the cottage in the little lower of the middle so that it makes a background and the four background of the page itself. And I have put blue-white mix-up on the background to have the base of the night lighted with lights of Christmas.

STEP 2: Now I have covered the walls of the cottage with burnt sienna. And remember that it is a hill area so you have to give some variation when you are putting blue-white mix-up on the ground to have the ups and downs.

STEP 3: Now as we know in these kinds of area Christmas trees are found so I have drawn some Christmas tree in the right side of the drawing with blue and burnt sienna mix-up.

STEP 4: Now as I will give the lights decorated in the trees so obviously it should have some reflections. So there is some reflections in the front wall of the cottage. For that I have used the mix-up of yellow ochre, white and orange with spatula. I will recommend using spatula because you can easily and beautifully put color with that.

STEP 5: Now I have decorated the right tree with lights. For that I have used yellow and orange. Now painting is a game of light and shadow and also the reflections of lights. So I have used yellow and white in the other trees for the reflections of the lights. Now on the left wall of the cottage I have given some shadow. For that I have used blue and burnt sienna. And I have added a door and a window with white and yellow using spatula.

STEP 6: Now in this is the step of reflections you can say because here I have put yellow and white on the front area of the house for the reflection. And in the right ground I have first put burnt sienna the yellow and white mix-up. You can see the picture for the proper placement. And in the roof of the cottage there is snow fallen so I have used blue and white for the snow.

STEP 7: This is the very beautiful step. So here I have added two windows on the left wall of the cottage from where we can see the light inside the house. For that I have used yellow ochre and white. And in the left trees I have added snow with white and in the background I have added more snow in the trees back of the house. And also added some details on the ground and lighted some area as needed to develop the paintings beauty.

How to Draw a moonlit night sky with acrylic painting | Dilip Realistic ...

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi this is Dilip Sarkar, it is another nature painting of moon light. As I am a nature lover I love the romantic frames of nature like this one. I have made it with acrylic color because many students before using oil painting go for the acrylic because it’s easy to use and faster. So I hope you all love this and enjoy.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (ACRYLIC COLOR)

STEP 1: In the first step I have shown how to draw a moon for these kinds of painting. Many people keep the moon white but no I say first give a blue cote because moonlight consists some blue effect itself. Besides on this blue cote you can use white and it will take effects of shadows itself. So I fist drew a circle for moon where I put some blue and on that I have used white and blue mix up so that we can use raw white further.

STEP 2: Here I put some red in the left side to show the spots of the moon and the shadows of the moon.

STEP 3: Then in the right side I have used white again. But this time I have used blue-white mix up in some places but mostly only white. Remember that the left side should be little darker then right side and in the middle there should be some variation of dark and bright.

STEP 4: And fill the rest of the canvas with blue acrylic. You can use water for easy brushing of the color.

STEP 5: then as you all know when we see moon there is a beautiful and romantic light coming from the moon. So that’s the thing which will support to develop your painting’s beauty. To draw those take some mixture of white and blue and use the brush in a kind of arc on the sides of the moon. Use more water here.

STEP 6: Now a tree in these kinds of painting always brings a great romantic effect. So I here have drawn a tree with blue and burnt sienna.

STEP 7: then I have drawn some thin branches of the tree where I have made some leaves using same color combination. Now this is the time to take the painting to another level by adding light. For that I have used a spatula and added lights on the tree, branches of the tree etc.

You can add more details as you want your painting to be some different from other.

Thanks for watching.

Gurudongmar Lake Oil Painting | Paint with Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, as you all know I love to travel. So I have travelled to Gangtok recently. From Gangtok I went to Gurudongmar Lake.Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world located in India. It is 17,800 ft.high in the Indian state of Sikkim. I wondered after seeing that place so I thought I would draw it on the spot but I could not because People can’t stay there for long because all time it’s very cold with heavy storm. And sometime small pieces of stones come with the wind. So it could break my canvas and ruined my paintings. So I have drawn it in my gallery. I have given some simple steps how to draw so I hope you all love this.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (OIL PAINTING)

STEP 1: In this first step I have made the sky keeping a shape of mountain because I will draw mountains there. The color I have used is turquoise blue and flake white. Then I have blurred the color with a fresh brush without any oil.

STEP 2: Then it is a tricky step. Here I have put some raw color with spatula on the area where I will draw the mountains leaving some space for the fallen snow on the mountains. Then with the fresh brush I have use the brush from vertically to spread the raw color all over the mountain as peak to bottom. (see picture). Remember to leave that space for the snow.

STEP 3: Now when there is too much snow fallen on the mountain, there is some shadow we can see which is basically the shadow of snow for the coming sunlight. So the color of this shadow is not so black but little darker from the white. To get that effect I have put some white and blue mix-up with a thin brush over that blue color of the mountain.

STEP 4: After that I have used a spatula to draw the fallen snows on the mountain upon those shadows with flake white.

STEP 5: Now this mountain isin far so I have put some color just below the mountains with blue and white mix-up to have that blur foggy effect.

STEP 6: Now I have drawn a base of the hill in the right side and the lake bank. For that I have used burnt sienna and raw umber respectively for the hill and the lake bank. Now mixing white with raw umber color I have gave some light tone on the bank of the lake and also in that hill. But to get the light fallen brightly in some places I have used some deep colors like burnt sienna as needed. I have kept a space for the lake.

(Raw Umber: This is basically a deep version of burnt sienna if you don’t have that color you can use burnt sienna mixing with little black)

STEP 7: This is very interesting and beautiful step. As you think only watching this that it is very hard step but actually it’s not. That’s why I have used some simple step. Then using brush I have put Prussian blue on lake then with white I have blurred the color to have very nice water color.

STEP 8: Now with some white and blue mix up I have made some snow floating on water using spatula as we can see in these kinds of cold places.

Now as the sunlight is falling on this mountain and hills so the snows are melting and coming to that lake. And in some places I have given some touch ups to have a better light and shadow effect.

If you loved this and if it has helped you like comment and share.

How to draw A cap - soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar I love to make you known verity types of painting skills. This drawing is about how to draw a cap painting realistically. Here I have given some prospective of shading and coloring for a simple realistic painting. I hope you all enjoy this. If you love my article the keep in touch with my website, you will get more articles.

HOW TO DRAW A CAP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1-: This article is especially dedicated to kids. So I have kept all the steps very simple. At first I have drew a sketch of the cap. You can take a prospective from the picture given or you can draw any type of cap. But if you are just a beginner try to draw this cap to understand how to give the shadings and color first. Here I have drawn DS as my sign of Dilip Sarkar; you can use other design relating your name.

STEP 2: Then I have used soft pastel here to give some shades to get a 3D or realistic effect. Remember this is not a blue cap it’s a white cap but in those areas where some shadow has arrived I have used blue soft pastel. Because when light falls on a white thing and on that side the visible shadows are blue and the very opposite side of coming light are generally black. So I have given blue on two different sides. And on the left side I have not put blue on that whole gap of the design of the cap because of the coming light. I have just given very little color on the left side and blurred it.

STEP 3: Then I have colored other designs with black pastel pencil like on my name sign and some other areas as you can see. If you have drawn any other design then you can as you want.

STEP 4: Then I shaded the right side for the shadow with black. You can see picture for better placement of the shading.

STEP 5: Now you have a proper drawing of a cap. You can add other details as you want.

How to draw a cute baby - soft pastel

How to draw a cute baby - soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, I have today drawn a portrait of a baby face. As my entire viewer knows I love drawing nature paintings but besides that I also love drawing these kinds of portrait paintings with soft pastel instead of oil painting. Because people mostly draw these kinds of paintings with oil painting but I want to show you how to draw it with soft pastel. So here are some tips about how to draw a cute baby face with soft pastel. Before starting I want to suggest using a good quality pastel for better of the painting. And you should have knowledge of rubbing because in soft pastel you can’t rub so roughly or in any bad manner you have to rub the colors very smoothly understanding the fact that how the colors place and how the drawing looks on different kinds of rubbing. Follow the easy steps given bellow you can draw easily with those steps without taking tension about blurring. Yet I have just let you know that if you blur carefully the drawing would be better. I told a little bit how to blur for this picture because this picture has not much blurring except the face.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: So for drawing a cute baby face at first I have drawn beautiful sketch of a baby face. Here I wanted to draw a fatty face because fatty baby are cuter. You can see the picture for the sketch.

STEP 2: Now to make the skin face color I have used brown and yellow because it gives a very nice skin color. It also shows some completion in the face making the face more realistic. And I blurred very smoothly using my fingers so that the color can’t go in other part like eyes lip etc.

STEP 3: After blurring the color I have put blue in the background and colored the T-shirt green. We all can see our face has some shadows of our nose, cheeks etc. So for that, with the red pencil pastel I have drawn the shadows inside the nostril below the nose. I blurred the shadow area little bit as it shows a very real effect. See picture for better placement of the color.

STEP 4: Now I have bordered the eye with the brown pastel pencil and in the eye ball i have used green, little blue and yellow etc. colors to make the glaze.

STEP 5: Then I have drawn the lip of the baby. I have here used the red soft pastel pencil to make some detailing in the lip. First I have use the color lightly as a first cote then for detailing I used the pencil deeply. You can see picture.

STEP 6: In the hair I have put brown and red. Because any baby’s hair is not fully black they are a kind of brown.

STEP 7: Then with black soft pastel pencil I have detailed the eyebrows, eye and some other parts as needed. And you can add other details as you want to develops the cuteness of the baby,

Now you have a very cute baby face in front of you. You can do more things like blurring some places as needed and giving some touch up on T-shirt to make your drawing more beautiful.

how to paint desert sand with Oil Painting | Paint with Dilip Art

Nature sustains beauty in every shape and form. It is beautiful when a river runs through lush green valley; it is beautiful when rain does not want to cease; it is beautiful when a new life begins. Nature’s beauty never wanes even when there are no water, no greenery and no sign of life. With all its extremeness, desert is beautiful in its own way.

The technique that I have adopted for this painting is quite easy, ideal for beginners. You will notice that when I will paint the sand dunes. There, I have used the main shade of the sands as a base, over which I applied white for the lighter areas and dark brown for the darker areas. But, neither the white nor the brown will be harsh as it mixes with the base color and turn into perfect shading.

Canvas – 24ʺ x 18ʺ

Oil Colour – Prussian blue, Flake white, Chrome yellow deep hue, yellow ochre, cadmium red, burnt sienna

Brush – Flat brush no. 2, 4, 8, 12; flat brush 2”

Step 1

First, I am going to paint the sky. I want the sky to be clean blue that will have a pink tinge on the horizon. I am using the pink shade to add some softness to the landscape. To create the effect, I am using three shades, pale blue (blue + white), pale pink (red + white) and pale yellow (white + chrome yellow). I put the colors horizontally on the canvas with blue on the top, pink in the middle and yellow on the bottom. The yellow section will provide some shading to the pink hue and serve as a base to the dunes on the background. I blend the colors with a big flat brush to create a seamless gradient. After that, I add some more blue paint to the top section to intensify the color and blend it as well.

Step 2

Then I move on to the mighty sand dunes. Constantly moving as the wind wishes, the dunes seem to be alive. With a sandy yellow shade (yellow ochre – this shade should be used as it is. It should not be mixed with any other shade), I paint the shapes of the dunes and cover the rest of the blank canvas, leaving a bit of portion on the foreground. I will work on that blank area later.

Step 3

It’s time for some shading. The dune will not come to life until light and dark play their parts. I take some white paint and use it to shade and shape the dunes. For the shadowy sides, I am using a darker shade, burnt sienna. Of course, I am blending them really well, as it is extremely important in shading. All the highs and lows and the contours are visible now, making the dunes prominent. Then I move on to fill the blank space I left before.

Step 4

Next step is all about creating details. Using white shade, I do some light-sourcing, make the waves on the dunes and also create faint hint of sand blowing away from the dunes. I use darker shade (burnt sienna) to emphasise the features of the dunes and some shading as well.

Step 5

After a bit of touch up here and there, the dunes are almost done. I think the sky needs a little more definition. So, I take bit of pink shade that I have used a while ago, to create a bit of cloud across the sky. Clouds are a rare sight in deserts, so this addition will make the scenery even more special. I am keeping some parts of the faint clouds little bit pinker than the others. I want the sky look sunny on one edge and blue on the other. Using some pale yellow (chrome yellow + white), I create the sunny portion and add blue on the opposite side. I put little bit of white in some parts of the clouds. Then I blend them all together. Lastly, I shape the dune on the foreground using darker hues (burnt sienna).

So, that’s it, my desert landscape is ready. Don’t forget to let me know your views on this painting. See you soon.

How to paint a sunset with soft pastels for beginners | Dilip Realistic ...

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi I am Dilip Sarkar, I always fond of teaching kids how they can easily draw beautiful picture and improve their art skills. In this website I want to teach how to draw difficult paintings very easily. People draw many good paintings with oil color but I want to show you how you can draw those paintings with soft pastel in some easy steps. I will also show in my other article how can you draw easily with oil colors .So today I have drawn a sunset drawing from a close view that a cloud covering the sun half in during sunset. I love sunset drawing because you can impress other with this kinds of paintings very easily. I hope you will all love and enjoy.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: This painting is basically very easy soft pastel painting. Here in the first step I have put some basic colors as the sky. As it is a painting of sunset so the color combination I have used is light yellow, little orange, pink and blue. But I have put the color leaving some round space for the sun and in the lower part of the page also some space for a big cloud. Half round space is because the sun is half covered with a big cloud. See the picture for better color placement and see how it goes lighter to darker. Don’t forget to blur the color.

STEP 2: Then I used some white in the starting of the sun for giving more light there.

STEP 3: Now the cloud part. First I have drawn the outline of the cloud with blue and red and after that on that outline I have put light yellow for light. Now in the cloud I have put some blue and violet color and blurred it. Now you have a beautiful drawing in front of you.

STEP 4: But to make this more clear and beautiful I have lighted the sun with little more white but keep the inner part of the sun blank. Then in the lower part of the cloud I have used little more deep blue and also in the sky sides. You can use more detail here though this drawing is completed here, there is not much thing to detail.

Thanks for your love and support. Keep visiting my channel for more drawings.

How to draw, a 3D ball ,optical illusion, soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

This is very fantastic part drawing which I want to show today. It is 3D art. It’s much about shading and sketching. You should have the knowledge of shading and the sketching then you can draw more smoothly. 3D art is also very beautiful and it gives us a illusion that it’s in space where it’s really on paper. Here I have given an article on how to draw a 3D football simply. So here is some steps I hope you all enjoy it

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: At step 1 I have drawn a shape of football making a circle and some hexagon between this. You can use any round shape [e thing for that circle.

STEP 2: Here I colored the hexagons. I have put different colors like blue, red, yellow and red. You can use other combinations. Here I have used soft pastel pencil for coloring so that I can easily put color in hexagons as they would not mix with each other.

STEP 3: Now when you are coloring remember that you can’t color all the football. Because to have the 3D effect I have used the color deeply in the left side though I left some little space in the hexagons and in the right side you have to use color only on the outline area of the hexagons. I prefer deeply use the color on the outlines and blur it softly in the hexagon leaving same space which shows the light. Then you will have the proper a 3D effect.

STEP 4: Then I want to show this in space so it should have some shadow under the football. So for the shadow I have used charcoal and blurred it with a dry brush for better effect.

STEP 5: After that I have erased all the extra charcoal which is not needed as a shadow.

STEP 6: Then cut outline of the football below half to get 3d shape.

How to - 3d tree - wall putty - With Dilip Art

Today
I am showing you some other kind of art. It is 3D art on wall. You can make it
in anywhere in your bedroom, dining, or in any area of your house where you
want. For doing this I have used Birla white wall putty, which is very much
strong to protect against flaking.  It
binds strongly with the base plaster and makes the surface last longer. This is
the best wall putty in India I think. That’s why I have used that.

In my room the pillar was making an
odd look that’s why I started my 3d art making the pillar the base of the tree.
Here I have put the putty on wall making a 3d tree. And in some places where
the putty is more outward I have drilled a screw to fix them. But you have to
do this before putting the putty. Otherwise in future when you want to do any
other things it may be fallen down. And I made whole in the tree as you can
see, for that I have cut a glass diagonally and placed that covering with wall
putty with spatula.

Now I have colored the entire tree stem with
acrylic burnt sienna and in some places where I wanted to make the shadows, I
have put blue mixing with burnt sienna. Using same color I have colored all the
branches.

With this putty I made a snake involved
in this tree. I colored the branches keeping the snake white.  Then I have colored the snake with yellow
acrylic. Then I have used deep yellow and burnt sienna for the spots. I have
tried to give a color of python snake; you can make any other snake. But draw
this with very care. And in the mouth of the snake I have fixed that drilling a
screw because the mouth of the snake is very much outside from the wall. And
for the tongue of snake I have used two strings and colored it with burnt sienna.

In that whole of the tree stem I
kept my brushes there as I am a painter. You can put other things on that.
There is a cut on the stem as we can
see in the tree. For that I have used burnt sienna, yellow ocher etc. with a
thin brush. On that kind of cut area, verity types of shape it could take you
can make other as you want.

So now you have a beautiful design
on your wall. It really opens up the beauty of the room. Using this method you
can make any other concept. It gives a very classic effect on your room.

How to draw | Deep Forest At Sunset | soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

I VERY MUCH LIKES TO DRAW PAINTINGS WITH SOFT PASTEL. In this picture I wanted to show some special deep forest where sunshine has fallen. People used to draw these kinds of painting in oil painting but I prefer soft pastel as well as oil painting. Because soft pastel too gives us a very beautiful painting if you know the right technique. So here is my article about how to draw deep forest at sunset with soft pastel. I hope you all enjoy it.

STEP 1: It’s always very important to know before drawing anything what should be the base of the drawing. And interestingly when I draw any nature painting I always use such a basic color which automatically supports all the painting. As I want to draw a deep forest obviously the basic colors should be dark. So here I have left some space in the middle off the page from where I will show the light is coming. So leaving that space I have put yellow and yellow ochre around that blank space, then burnt sienna, red, orange and green. But I didn’t use too much color because it’s just a basic color.

Note: Below the road put some yellow as the road where the light is falling

STEP 2: Then around the light source keeping some lemon yellow I have put some yellow ochre. What I want to do now increasing the deepness of the color gradually from out light source. And in other areas some I put some more brown.

STEP 3: Now in the step 3 I then drew some thin stems with the green soft pastel pencil to show some stems in far away. You can use any soft pastel. I have use the pastel pencil because with this it’s easy to draw those very thin stems.

STEP 4: Then after then just next to our light source I have drawn some thin trees with green color. It basically shos some trees in the far. Because when we draw a painting like this the beauty of the p[painting is the way we draw the trees getting far to close.

STEP 5: Next to that I have used blue. As I have already put the brown so when I put blue on that it automatically turns into black which gives the dark effect. But you have to use the pastel vertically to show that there is many trees.

STEP 6: Next to that I have put browner to make it darker. I am going light to dark here. Because then when I would put the light effect it would look like some trees in the deep forest shines by the falling light. Don’t forget to blur after putting the color.

STEP 7: Now it’s the most interesting part though you can say it’s a detailing part. Here at first I have made some more twigs in the light source with yellow which shows the twigs in the very far. And I then put some light on trees with yellow and white. And in other part in some places I have given light effect like in the road and the twigs etc.

India Gate Oil Painting | Pollution free environment | Happy Diwali

Now-a-days pollution became a common issue which is very much affecting our environment. There is much cause behind pollution. It may be because of the increasing number of diesel, petrol base vehicle, may be because of using too much crackers in Diwali like festivals, sewage, weedicides, smoke, and many more. But this article is about Delhi, the capital of India which has been very much polluted. For that Delhi Gov. has banned the crackers in this Diwali. Because according to other states of India, Delhi, Mumbai like over crowded cities use much crackers in Diwali which makes them warmer. I think it’s a good diction to save our nature because such festivals are festivals of lights and joy. The lights means to destroy all the darkness around us with the lights of joy not those harmful things. We can use divas and such thing as lights to celebrate and minimize the use of crackers. I am not saying no to them, what I am saying is to minimize the number of usage of crackers. Thus we can celebrate Diwali happily keeping our environment safe from being polluted. So giving this massage to all my viewers I have drawn India Gate. Also wish you all a very Happy Diwali.

Here I have given a little description how I have drawn this.

At first I have drawn the sketch of the India gate and then I have put deep blue, light blue for sky leaving some space in the middle for the gate. Then blurring it with fresh brush I have sprinkle some white and yellow dots on that. Then I have colored it with yellow ochre and orange. Then I have taken a thin brush for the detailing in the gate with the mixture of burnt sienna and tallow ochre. Now as we all know our India gate is always lighted so for that light I have used lemon yellow mixing with yellow ochre. If you get the proper lightness with only lemon yellow you don’t need to use yellow ochre and if you get it very light so use little amount of ochre with this (see the video for right placement). Then I have blurred the sides of the sky to have a highlighted area above the India gate. After that I have drew the light posts. Then I have used more detailing to make the painting more prominent

SEE the video linked for more information.

Hope you all have enjoyed this and will help to keep our nature and environment safe. And it’s my request to all my viewers that to be aware of doing anything that harms the nature this is everything without nature where shall we live, from where we will get oxygen and many more.

how to use watercolors for beginners | A snowy mountains Painting Tutori...

ABOUT PICTURE

As we see many mountains covered with snow but we see all those drawing with oil painting but here I have drawn it with water color. Here I have kept blank the entire page and drawn the whole painting using very less painting. I hope you can learn from this and enjoy this.

COLORS: Blue, Red and White.

PAGE SIZE: A3 / Watercolor paper

TOOLS: Brushes and tape.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP WATER COLOR

STEP 1: First, I have set up the page by attaching tape with it on the sides of the page. It resists the water going out of the page. Here I have used a new technique where I kept the entire page blank and the whole painting will be drawn with very less color. Now I have started from the sky using blue and white making shape of hills in the lower sky. Because of snow this shape will show the hill. And after putting the color I have immediately rub smoothly with a dry sponge.

STEP 2: So as we see many ups and downs in the hills for that I have mixed up red and blue color and used it to have those ups and downs.( You can see the picture for proper shape and the placement of the color)

STEP 3: Now there is many trees in the hill area. But when it is very sunny the trees looks very darker in color. For that I have drawn it with blue and red mixing. I have drawn it in the left side and little smaller because these trees are in far. And for shadow I have used the same color but lightly, And remember that before drawing the trees put a first cote with same color and after drying it you can draw again.

STEP 4: Now to send those trees and the entire painting far away I have made some front trees. For that I have put a basic color with red and blue with more water making it lighter.

STEP 5: Now detail the trees with deep cote of the same color taking less water. And you can draw more detail as needed.

If you drew the painting in right way following the steps you then now you have a beautiful painting in front of you.

How to draw oil painting | Catkin flower beside the road | Paint with Di...

How to draw oil painting | Catkin flower beside the road | Paint with Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

This is the beginning of autumn and also the starting Durga Puja festivals. So in these times we can see very colorful combinations and very beautiful catkin flowers. So I have thought of drawing this drawing about a very beautiful nature of this time. I hope you all enjoy this.

COLORS: Prussian blue, red, chrome yellow, flake white, yellow ochre, burnt sienna and light blue.

CANVAS: ‘24’x’18’

BRUSHES: Flat brush no. 2, 4, 8, 12; Fan brush no. 4; Spatula knife; flat brush 2”,

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (OIL PAINTING)

STEP 1: This picture is about the time of the beginning of the most popular festival of Bengal, Durga Puja where we can see many Catkin flower and very beautiful color combination in the sky. So that’s why the sky is very important part of this drawing which supports the whole painting.

At first I have put yellow ochre, red and white in a kind of mixing way and also blue mixing with little white on the top of the page. It is a basic color of the sky, on that I will draw clouds and other color verities. Then I blurred all the color with another new and dry brush.

STEP 2: Then I have mixed the chrome yellow with white and put on the almost middle of the sky for the bright area of sunset. And I have used the brush in a kind of round way to have cloudy effect.

STEP 3: As I have made the bright area in the middle of the sky so it’s natural that the upper part would be darker that’s why I have used Prussian blue in the upper portion of the sky. And I have used the brush in the way it shows there is some clouds.

STEP 4: Now I have used flake white and yellow for the lighted part of the clouds. Because in these kinds of beautiful sky, clouds consume the white light of the sun very much whatever the color combination is.

STEP 5: Now as yellow ochre was already given in that bright area, so I have now drawn the sun with white. I have drawn it with my finger for proper shape but you can use brush for the sun.

STEP 6: Now the lower portion of the painting, here I have drawn a road and the lands of the side of the road. For the side land I have mixed Prussian blue, little amount of lemon yellow and burnt sienna. It has given a dark base of the land on where I can put light colors. It will open the beauty of the painting because sun is setting down so here are many dark effects of the land.

STEP 7: Then I have put burnt sienna mixing with little white for the road. I again put a dark base for the road because I could out light color later.

STEP 8: Now it’s the part where our drawing will turn into a beautiful painting when I will include the flowers and all. So in the left sides of the road I have made a shape of some bushes with chrome yellow and little blue. And in the right side I used lemon yellow, white and Prussian blue. I have kept this side little darker for adding flower and other lights later.

STEP 9: Then I drew the catkin flowers with flake white in both side left and right. But here I have used fan brush because it’s easier to use and time saving. And then I have added lights in grasses and road and also don’t forget to draw the road in far with white. I also drew some trees and bushes in the far.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: In the first step, I have drawn the sky portion with light blue, turquoise blue and white understanding that the upper sky is deep and lower is light. And I have left some page for light. AndI blurred the color.

STEP 2: Then obviously sky have some cloud and the drawing takes a beautiful look so I have used white for cloud.

STEP 3: Then I have thought of drawing a beautiful hill for that I used Prussian blue and light blue leaving some areas in the right side for light and I have used the color deeply in the left side for shadow. Then I have used white for light effect in the right side and the peaks of the hills for showing snow.

STEP 4: then I have drew a basic sketch of hills after the upper mountains leaving some page below that for light.

STEP 5: This hills is in front so here snow has not fallen. So some trees has grown hear. For that in the right side I have used blue and then green. And in the left side in the lower portion I used burnt sienna and in the upper portion I used yellow ochre.

STEP 6: Now sun light has fallen in the left hills so I have put green for some more trees. Then in the right side I have drawn another hill in more fronts. Now we can see many alloys in these types of hills so in the middle alloy, in that I used blue and green and for the other portion I have used yellow ochre and burnt sienna mostly in the lower portion.

STEP 7: Now for the lakes I have used light blue and then leaving some page in the lake for lights I have used turquoise blue because the lake consumes the sky’s colors for clear weather. Then here comes the shadow part. I have put blue below the hill for shadow in the lake in the right side.

How to draw - sunlight in forest - soft pastel painting

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar. Today I have drawn a beautiful nature painting with soft pastel. I tried to draw this with different color combination. Soft pastel nature painting always impresses people. Here I have drawn in many easy steps. I hope it will help you to develop your skills

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP(SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: Today I have drawn a nature painting. At first I have put green and yellow ochre as the basic color for the painting.

STEP 2: Then I have drawn some trees in the left side with green, some trees in the front with deep green and some in the far with light green. Also I drew some grass with green and for the leaves I put red and green. It is base for the leaves, I have added details later.

STEP 3: in the right side I have drawn some trees in the far with pencil and also added light with white in almost all trees. And in the right side where I made the far trees I used red below those trees mixing the red with that basic background color.

STEP 4: Then I have drawn some trees in the front but this time it’s bigger. Here I have used orange and brown for the front trees. I have kept the orange in the lighted side.

STEP 5: Now I have made some bushes with brown and orange. On that I used white for the flowers.

STEP 6: Now when we see trees we see some trees very big in the front then the trees gets smaller gradually. So sending those trees in the far I have drawn some more in the very front with orange brown and blue. And added some leaves on that leave base with brown orange green. And then added some more detail to stems making some thin brunches in the trees and also added some details in the bushes.

How to draw oil paint | cool evening | beautiful landscape | Paint with Dilip Art

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi friends, I am dilip sarkar, today I have shown how you can draw a beautiful evening of a hill area just before the sunset. So here I have given some easy steps for my viewers. As I always say nature painting always touches our heart so I want you to draw it easily to impress your family, friend and anyone you want. That’s why I have made this article for you. I hope you all enjoy it.

TOOLS:

BRUSHES: I used different types of brushes here such as flat brush No. 2, 4, 8, and 12 and round brush No. 0 and a flat 2 inch brush.

CANVAS SIZE: 18 x 14

COLORS: Prussian blue, Cobalt blue, Burnt sienna, Orange, Chrome yellow, Crimson red, flake white

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (OIL PAINTING)

STEP 1: Hi friends, In the first step I have put some color on my drawing pallet such as white , yellow, orange , red and burnt sienna. So now we can start our painting.

STEP 2: Now I wanted to draw an evening painting when sun is setting down. It’s really beautiful to draw this kind of sky because it really captures everyone’s attention for its color combination. So here I have put yellow and orange for the sky and in the middle I have left some round space for sun (you can see the picture for proper placement of the sun). Below the sun I have used the color deeply. You can use red and Orange for that. Then I blurred it as the way the color does not come into sun.

STEP 3: Then in the lower sky specially below the sun I have used red and Orange also little in the sides. Because in below the sun some reddish color are consumed in clouds in this kind of time of the evening and blurred it.

STEP 4: Now the lower part of the painting where I have drawn the hills. But before drawing the hills I have given a basic color. Fpr that basic color I have used burnt sienna Blue and Red blurred it.

STEP 5: Now I have again moved to sky part. I just gave the basic color on the lower portion before completing the sky part because it gives me the clear view of the painting and I then come to know that what colors will make the drawing more beautiful. Then I have used some red below the sun for more clouds which has consumed some colors in it.

STEP 6: Then I included little cloudier effects in both side on the sky area with Red Blue and White blurred it softly.

STEP 7: Now as we know we also see some white clouds whatever the time is. So I included some white cloud using flake white and Yellow

STEP 8: Now I again started the hill part after completing the sky part. Here I drew some hill area with Red Blue and burnt sienna mixing both the colors. I drew it on both sides left and right as we see in many places (see the pictures for proper drawing). And in the below of the hills I blurred it with white for showing some distance with the front hills.

STEP 9: Then o drew some more hills in the front with the combination of colors but mixing in a deep colors especially in white areas to meekly the cloudy effect in between the hills.

STEP 10: This step is basically for sending the whole picture away. For that in the very front I have drawn a tree with blue and burnt sienna. Don’t make the tree thick too much because in these kinds of places we don’t often see thick trees. So now you have a beautiful painting of a hill area in the evening.

Travel Easel free demo | Dilip Art

Hello friends, today I am going to do my very first product review. I am going to share my thoughts on an easel, which I recently bought from Kolkata. Please check out the unboxing and demonstration video of this that I have uploaded in my YouTube channel. So let’s get into the review.

It comes in a cardboard packaging. Inside the box the easel is securely placed between two polystyrene foam blocks. It is actually a contractible easel which you can carry in your backpack quite easily. It is made of wood, weighs about 4.5kg. The tripod and the canvas holder are contracted together. There is also a drawer, on which the tripod and the canvas holder are contracted. It is really easy to expand all the parts. You can easily adjust the height of the tripod and the canvas holder. The addition of the drawer is really clever. It has four compartments, a long one to keep the brushes and three smaller ones to keep the paint tubes. It can be easily used as storage and it is also helpful while painting. I found another surprise inside the drawer, a contractible color palate.

I am really happy with this product.

See you later.

How to draw , Beautiful sea wave , soft pastel

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, as you all know the purpose of my website is to let you know many simple techniques to draw variety of beautiful paintings. So these kind paintings are basically drawn with oil painting and acrylic. But for students I wanted to let you learn some easy techniques to draw such paintings with soft pastel. So here are some easy steps to draw this beautiful painting of a big wave. I hope you all love and enjoy this. Try it and make you skills better.

TOOLS: -

Colors: Blue, White, Pink, Green, and Yellow

I have used black sheet,

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP (SOFT PASTEL)

STEP 1: This is a drawing of a big wave with soft pastel so if I drew it in a white page it would be little difficult to combine colors easily so that I have taken a black page.

On that I have put blue color making a design of big wave. You can us white for the outline (See picture). Then I blurred it smoothly.

STEP 2: Now as the sky I have used white, little amount of blue and pink and blurred it.

STEP 3: then I used white on the outline of the wave then used more white color in the way it shows the splashed water on the top and I blurred it very little.

STEP 4: It is very important and interesting step. Then I used little green, yellow and very little white just below the wave outline which would show that the reflected light in the wave water. And just below that I used turquoise blue and very little white and blurred it. (See image for knowing how I used the pastel)

STEP 5: In this step your drawing almost has become very beautiful. After blurring it very smoothly I have made some color in the left with turquoise blue and white. It is basically to give an effect of the shape big wave which consumes color from the sky.

STEP 6: Then in the lower portion of the wave I put blue and detailed that area with white which shows that the wave ends there with the sea.

Step 7: Then give more detail to it with white.

STEP 8: Then I used deep blue very less amount in the lower portion where some shadow occur. And I also gave it in the top. But remember the amount is very low.

Step 9: include more detail to it as needed. For more you can watch the video linked below. And I will suggest you using spray because it will keep your drawing safe from being faded

THANK YOU FOR VISITING.

How to draw , Most Beautiful Waterfalls - acrylic & watercolor

ABOUT PAINTING

As I very much fond of drawing nature painting so again I have drawn a nature painting. It is very beautiful waterfalls painting. But here I have used some new techniques. And using the combination of water color and acrylic color is the best I think for this painting. Because water color lighter color than acrylic. That’s why acrylic opens up a beauty on the water color. I hope you all enjoy this and will learn some easy steps to draw.

COLORS:

TOOLS:

COLORS: Prussian blue, Sky blue, White, Yellow, Orange, Red, & burnt sienna,

BRUSHES: I use some different types of brushes like round brush no. 0, 4, 8, and 12; fan brush no. 4,

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP|WATER COLOR AND ACRYLIC COLOR

STEP 1: Fist I set the page on the board for better and smooth drawing with a tape. It’s important to understand how you can draw suitably.

STEP 2: Here fist I have started painting with water color. It is basically water color painting. So in this step I put some blue color mixing it with sufficient water so that its looks a kind of sky color which is basically the color of water falls. You can watch how I used the brush.

STEP 3: Then I flipped the page a little bit so that the water falls down on the page and it automatically took the shape of water falls. Lastly I gave a little more good shape of water falls using the brush as you can see in the picture.

STEP 4: We can see many trees and flowers around water falls. So for that I put orange color in the right side and light green in the left side. After that I used very little brown on that mixing it with little orange.

STEP 5: Then I put light green on the right side and in the left side I put a color mixing green and brown. I put dark base color so that I can put light color further.

STEP 6: Now I have used acrylic color which give a very beautiful effect on that water color light base. After that I have used green acrylic in the left side with fan brush to make the leaves and also in the right side. And in the left side on that dark base I put orange using the brush in the way it looks like flower leaves etc.

STEP 7: Its very beautiful and interesting step because here your drawing will change. Her I have drew some stems. Some are small and some are big. Then I made leaves on that. For the leaves I have used fan brush again and the color I used red fast then orange. It’s very beautiful combination. And I have also drawn some orange leaves in the right side. All I am saying that you can draw variety of leaves variety of color combination.

How to draw a glass and orange juice with oil pastels | Dilip Realisti...

ABOUT PICTURE

Today I have made an oil pastel drawing which is very easy. The purpose of drawing this is I see many students drawing with oil pastel but they never wants to stay with this colour very long and before learning the full of this colours they wants to try water colour or some other colours. So I wanted to change that thinking and wanted to show that students can draw realistic drawings with oil pastel. It gets a very beautiful texture on the page and also it has many benefits and advantages that the colours stay on the page for long. It has a oily effect on the drawing after painting.

COLORS: Oil Pastels- Orange, Primary Red, Prussian blue, Medium Yellow, Deep Yellow, Grey and White.

Used paper- Black art paper

STEP 1: At first I sketched the drawing of one whole orange and two pieced apple and a glass of water with normal sketch pencil. I have used black art paper because it has much white and light effect. You can see the above picture given.

STEP 2: Then I used orange and yellow colour for the whole orange. And then I used medium yellow for the orange peel. Remember that I put orange colour mostly in the right side because I selected the left side as the light side.

STEP 3: For the inner part of the orange I used medium yellow and for the outline I used white and in the centre as we see a white dot I also drew that.

STEP 4: Now it’s a very important one because most of student fears of drawing a glass. So as it was sketched already, on that i again overdrew it with white. And don’t forget to draw the juice layer and the lower area where many lights are reflected. And in somewhere I used the white pastel lightly and rub it with finger to make the glass effect as I did in the drawing.

STEP 5: I put medium yellow for the juice and on that I used orange colour in the right side because the light is coming from the left side.

STEP 6: So it is last step. Here the drawing will change into beauty. At first I lithe in the glass and many other areas with white as needed. Then I drew the glass reflections on the table with blue and white. And then I added red in many places for the spreading reflection of the orange through the glass.

If you have drawn it in a proper way then you have a drawing like this

how to draw acrylic painting , kangsabati dam

How to draw acrylic painting, kangsabati dam

ABOUT PICTURE
Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar, welcome to my channel of art.
I travel a lot and see many beautiful views. And I love to put those on my canvas. So once I went to Mukutmonipur, India and I saw this very beautiful place which is kanshabati dam that filled my eyes. So I wanted to draw it for my students. It is always touches my heart to draw nature painting especially from real views and it contains lot more techniques and combinations of art. That’s why itis my wish to let youall learn easy step and techniques to develop your art skills.

ACRYLIC COLORS: turquoise blue, flake white, chrome yellow burnt sienna, deep green and chrome yellow.

BRUSHES: Flat brush no. 2, 4, 8, 12; Fan brush no. 4

HOW TO DRAW ACRYLIC PAINTING| STEP BY STEP

STEP 1: This is very easy painting basically. To make it easier I have used burnt sienna for background. I have colored the whole canvas with this mix up because it will itself give a color of river side base. So after the color would have been dried I have started painting on it. Then I put turquoise blue in all the left side leaving some area in the right side. And in the right side where river ends on the land I have drawn a shape of the last layer of wave shown in the river bank. (See picture for better understanding)

STEP 2: Then I used white in the sky portion making a line which shows the line that we see in the far where we can see the river for the last to be mixed with sky. And I blurred itputting more white in some places but keeping the line visible.

STEP 3: Then I put white in the river sides for the waves but not too much because it has not much waves and blurred it a little bit to the left side for a realistic effect. You have to draw it fast you should not keep the color for long then it will grab brush lines because this color dries fast.

STEP 4: Now comes the very interesting part. I here put whiteand little burnt sienna color in the land using the brush in a kind of curve shape for the lower land just next to the river sides where the waves ends with the land. Then I took burnt sienna in my brush and just put it above the lower land for another area attached to it in the upper. And I used brush in some places in kind of nudging it to make some detail for high and low areas on the land which we can see on the river sides.

STEP 5: Then Used deep green on the burnt sienna for grass then light green and for more light I put chrome yellow. After this you can add more detailing many places as needed like in river, sky etc.

how to draw free oil painting tutorials | Sunset end of the day at Moun...

Artist Dilip Sarkar
For more information , visit my website :- http://www.dilipgallery.com/

ABOUT PICTURE

As my viewers know most of time I draw nature painting. I like mostly the combination of sunset. Today I wanted to draw the end of the sunset which itself consumes a very beautiful color combination. I have chosen the mountain because it’s easy for viewers to draw and also beautiful. I think you will find here very easy steps to draw a very beautiful oil painting easily. I hope you all enjoy this painting.

STEP 1: in the first step I want to put colors for the sky. Much time I drew many sunset combinations but today’s painting is about the time just after sunset. So we see a very typical combination in the sky at that time with dark in the top and light below the dark which shows that night is arriving after the day. So I put Prussian blue in the top and next to that I mixed red and white making the deep red lighter like pink and the put Chrome yellow on that. And Remember I started putting the blue from right and kept the light in the left side. And blur it.

STEP 2: Then I put white on that to make clouds on the sky. Then I blurred this with another fresh flat brush.

STEP 3: Here I have drawn some mountains some in the front and some in the far. So I have started from the far. For the mountains in the far I drew it withCobalt blue but not too deep.

STEP 4: Then Just next to that I blurred that color with a flat brush in a rounded way with the same color. As the canvaswas white so it already takes a light color itself.

STEP 5: After that I drew another hillseries with Prussian blue with the same method as I did in the step 4.

STEP 6: Then I made the lake with blue, white and in the sides of the lake keeping some area blank I put the same color as I used in the sky because of the reflection of the sky. Then at the left side I drew another hill with Prussian blue.

STEP 7: Then I drew more front hills but in the way it seems those hills ends in the lake. I used basically Prussian blue. And the last one I drew with burnt sienna.

STEP 8: Then I lighted the hills mixing flake white and little red using spatula.

STEP 9: Then I also drew the waves of the lakes with flake white, orange and chrome yellow. But remember you have to take very little amount of orange and red color. And for some more light detain in the front land which is basically the ends of the mountain.

STEP 10: Then you will have a beautiful picture of the hill at the time of sunset end. Obviously you can add more detail as needed.

How to draw , A beautiful landscape, cool morning - soft pastels

How to draw, a beautiful landscape, cool
morning - soft pastels

ABOUT PICTURE

I love to draw paintings for beginners. So
today I thought of drawing a painting of hill in desert in cool morning where I
drew many trees and made a bird of peace in the morning. In this kind of places
the time changes from morning to noon the place starts to be empty and dry. You
can’t see any animals then that are why I made bird to show the time to be
morning.

STEP 1: In this step I put sky blue color
and white for the sky and drew the shape of the hill with red. It is basically
desert area so I left some are blank in the lower of the hill. I will make
other things there.

STEP 2: Then after giving some white in the
sky I colored the hill for the first cote. At the right side of the hill I put light
brown and very little yellow ocher and blurred it. And as the light is coming
from the right side obviously the left side of the hill is dark because of the
shadow. So I colored it with blue and brown and blurred it. And in the lower
portion of the hill I used yellow ocher and at some places I used brown

STEP 3: And in this step I lighted the
right side of the peak of the hill with yellow ocher from the top to the bottom
but I only blurred the lower area. I didn’t blurred the peak because of the
light. And I also lighted the lower part of the hill with yellow ocher on the
areas where I put the brown color. It will show that the land is little high
low

STEP 4:
Now after that I drew some trees. One in the front and another is in the
little far. I here drew the stems with brown pastel pencil and I used little
yellow ocher for the light. And I blurred in little area because if I blurred
all the way up to the down it may make the painting bad. In this area this
types of trees are found.

STEP 5: Then I drew another tree stem which
I want to show its Broken so I drew it half with same color combination. But
don’t forget to add light and shadow. On this tree I drew a bird sitting there
with pastel pencil.

STEP 6: Here I added some more very small
trees with brown and added light. So now you have a proper painting of hill in
desert.

drawing pink flamingos birds , landscape - acrylic paintings

Drawing pink flamingos birds, landscape - acrylic paintings

ABOUT PICTURE

Hi, I am Dilip Sarkar. Here is a painting of flamingo’s birds. Sometime ideas come from various things. That day I was watching discovery channel and got to see a beautiful picture of these birds but I just added some variety in the pictures of my imagination and also for making it little simple for students. So I drew it as easy as possible for you. Because I am not here just to show you what I know about art I want to let you know how to draw beautiful paintings with very easy processes. I hope you all enjoy it. Here is some simple steps.

Acrylic Colors - Here I use types of colors such as White, Yellow Ocher, Orange, Red, Prussian blue, Black & burnt sienna,

I use some different types of brushes like flat brush no. 4, 8, 12; fan brush no. 4, flat brush 2” and spatula knife.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP ACRYLIC PAINTING

STEP 1: First of all I want to tell about why I used black canvas. Black In the sense I colored black in all the canvas with black acrylic color. Because in this painting there is many compilations about darks and light such as the dark jungle area behind the flamingos bird, the lake, many other things like that.

How to Draw - 3D Cube step by step - Pencil Shading

HOW TO DRAW - 3D CUBE STEP BY STEP - PENCIL SHADING

Hi friends, as I always say sketching are very important for drawing. You can follow my tips to improve your sketching skill.

So here are some tips how to sketch 3D cubes, how to draw and shade.

Tools: Type of pencil-HB,2B,4B,6B and ruler.

It is very easy to make a cube if you know the right steps. So draw a square and give a point in the center of the square. Then draw another square of which the vertex is the center of the first square. Join respective corners to get the cubic shape. To make it a proper cube erase the inner lines of the first square and also erase the inner line of the right plane of the cube.

STEP 1: If you are very beginner then I recommend using ruler for drawing a cube. First draw a two perpendicular line, then draw four vertical lines parallel to the perpendicular (first should be 1/2 inch from the perpendicular). Then draw four lines 1 inch from the horizontal and draw 10 boxes. Then give a point half inch from the box. And then use same method in the side box of exact lower step then same as other steps till the end. Then add all the points. Then you will get the cubic shape just erase the extra lines left here. Then finally correct and draw the outlines.

Very carefully follow the step 1. It is very important step. Carefully follow the recommended measurement.

STEP 2: Then let us consider light coming from left side. Then lightly shade the left side of the cubes. Then deeply shade the right part of the column of cubes. Then you will get the proper 3D cubes.

How to draw , Forest At Sunset - soft pastel & Oil pastel

How to draw, Forest at Sunset - soft pastel & Oil pastel

ABOUT THIS DRAWING

I see many people drawing sunlight with oil painting. But I thought if I could draw it with soft pastel with the help of oil pastel so it would be more challenging art work. So it’s basically a painting of sunlight in the forest. Choosing forest is more challenging because you have to work on many criteria in the drawing. You have to work on the trees, road and many more things along with the sunlight. So for me this is what a painter wants to do, making verity of concept together with their limitless imagination. That’s why I think you will all love this one.

TOOLS: white art paper, soft pastel, soft pencil, oil pastel.

HOW TO DRAW STEP BY STEP

STEP 1: As we are drawing sunset in the forest we have to understand the fact of light source. Then we can express properly the sunlight with dark and light effect. Here I have chosen the light source in the little leftward of the middle according to my imagination of the road.

Then use very light yellow leaving some area blank it will give you the proper lightness. Now here light is spreading in all the forest from the light source so that’s why I put deep yellow and pink. Then mix the color by rubbing with your finger. Here the deep color actually expressing the light interestingly. Actually the deep color has been used to show the light in the forest so it is little low in the brightness.

Remember this step is the most important step in the full drawing. If you mess up in this step then your drawing is going in a wrong way.

How to draw oil paints for beginners | A Sunset moments | Oil painting

My fantasy flies me not only to enchanting places but to enchanting times also. I am in a forest now, at the time when the setting sun is raining colors. The glowing forest seems to be under a magical spell.

What a magnificent time is sunset! It is the harbinger of transformation, implying the change of times. A lot happens in such transition periods. Everything becomes so vibrant and so turbulent. Everything shifts in a haste, just as the sky before the dusk. It reminds us the eternal truth; change is the only thing that is constant.
